Introduction
The tales are told of how two ageing gardeners found a new purpose for life in their "golden years". Gay and Kees anticipated that their last years on Earth would be full of the joys of sharing the work in our Hobart garden that they dearly loved. The gold was soon to turn into a veritable rainbow of color and the simple idea of building their own little Paradise in the country changed their retirement years. The easing down of the pace of life that often comes in folks' later years was to turn into hours of heavy planning and enormous physical strain. And they enjoyed practically every moment of it.
