Since early 1999, Jane Stewart-Williams has been travel writing on a professional basis, writing features and destination pieces for newspapers, magazines and websites. She has been traveling for over twenty years, covering over thirty countries in six continents.
Jane’s true love is Africa, where she traveled on several occasions. She has hitchhiked through Ethiopia, lived and worked in both Zambia and South Africa, and independently traversed the continent from Cairo to Cape Town. Jane has made New Zealand her home base where she works as a freelance travel writer and photographer.
